Choosing a heat controls contractor

When choosing a heating controls contractor, it is very important the home owner carries out a level of research and due diligence to check the contractor is registered, trained and competent to install the heating controls successfully.

In accordance with the domestic technical standards and specifications, heating controls must be installed by suitably qualified individuals in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines as a minimum. In addition, they must hold a Level 6 National Craft Certificate in Plumbing or an equivalent Plumbing qualification such as City and Guilds.
